How To Get Stains Out Of Baby Clothes

Babies are a lot fun and they can bring you great joy. But when it is feeding time that joy and fun can turn into a big mess. Babies love to play in their food, spit it out and do everything it seems but eat it. Their clothes can become quite messy in the process. Here are some tips to help you get those unwanted stains out of baby clothes.

Use a wet cloth on stains right away. Blot out as much of the stain as possible, do not rub the stain. Rubbing the stain will make it spread to other areas and cause the stain to set in to the fabric more.
For food that has dried up on the fabric, scrape it off. You do not want to wet the area because this will cause the food to spread as well.
Pre-treat the area. Use a solution that you have found to be effective for you. Apply it liberally to the stained area and allow it to soak for 15 minutes. Then you will rub the area vigorously. Repeat two times.
Put the clothing through a wash cycle. It is best to wash all baby clothes together and minimize how many items you put in the washer. You want the stain items to be sure to get enough detergent and water on them.
